Tommy McGregor is the founder of TheTransMission & author of Lost in Transition, but most importantly, he is husband to Andrea and daddy to Webb & Wolf.

Lost in Transition is a book for high school seniors and college freshmen who want to continue to grow in their relationships with Jesus once they go off to college. Tommy challenges students to have realistic expectations of college and to learn how to take ownership of their faith. This book will guide students toward their goal of maturing in their faith. It will help keep them from getting lost in transition.

Lost in Transition

When Tommy McGregor was in high school, he was a leader among his peers. He grew up in a strong Christian family and was very involved in his church, FCA, YoungLife, and any other Christian organization that he could find the time to participate in.  When he went to college, he thought that continuing to grow in his faith would be an easy next step, but he was wrong.

Within a few week into his freshman year, he found himself in a fraternity of guys with not accountability or mentors. He spent the next two years wandering spiritually and not even realizing it.  After coming to his senses, Tommy began to grow again in his faith and begin the maturing process that would lead him to going into full-time youth ministry after graduation.

Tommy's story is not unique to Christian college student who find themselves every year not understanding the reality of needing to focus on the spiritual transition to college. This is the reason that Tommy wrote Lost in Transition. This book guides high school seniors through the process of understanding what to expect in college and how to take ownership of their faith.
